Okay, I know, it’s Friday. Shhh. Do you want links or not?

So this is a video about stress at Oberlin, but I felt like it applies to Brown, and anywhere else that you might go, because college is stressful. I mean, it’s also really fun. But it is stressful. (reading the youtube comments for this made me want to jump off of a building. People were bitching about how the fact that these kids weren’t physics majors at MIT meant that they didn’t know what stress was like and they were just whining. The irony is that I bet most of these people were in high school. They’ll see.)

Speaking of videos, this time lapse video of a high school day is pretty damn cool.

Did you know that the lines on a Solo cup roughly correspond to the suggested servings of alcohol? Shots are way smaller than I thought they were. Oh well. I guess that explains some things.

So usually I think it’s unbelievably silly when people are told to be themselves. It’s too obvious. Who else are you going to be? That said, this article on dating is very much worth reading. I mean, it’s just right.

Get rid of your insecurities: whatever it is you feel someone will judge you about, they won’t. Everyone has something they’re insecure about and no one is perfect, so if you’re trying to get rid of five pounds you’re ashamed of, get over yourself, stop being a hungry biotch, and eat some bread. That person is with you already and if five pounds (or whatever it is you’re insecure about) was a deal-breaker, they’d be gone already, and a jerk.

Preach it.
