Your weekly roundup of all the things I found interesting on the Internet this week.
First of all, does anyone here not care about the Olympics? I’ve realized I can only bring myself to care about sporting events when they’re huge international affairs (see also: World Cup). I just get all patriotic, because my team is in fact a non-arbitrary choice, kind of. Hooray! Even this British woman is excited, I think:
Also on that note, can we talk about how jacked most of the athletes are? Who knew athletes were so physically capable?! Also, they’ve got sexy sexy butts. Don’t believe me?
Louis CK is having a huge moment. I feel like I should mention that I watched his whole show over winter break this year, and I love him.
This seems to be a day for obvious statements, so I’m going to go ahead and link to this Three Word Phrase. Is that a problem? Then you are in the wrong hood.
Also, an article about relationships! Or, it seems to really be an article about hookups. The gist of it is, if you’re having a casual thing, both people should be totally on the same page and be fully informed of the situation. If two people are hooking up and one of them sort of has the other by a string, that is pretty much always a bad thing. Take note!
And speaking of relationships, everybody is really worked up about Chick-fil-a (my opinion: CEOs can have whatever opinions they want, but when a business donates part of their profits to hateful groups, people have a right to respond). If anyone who reads this blog isn’t totally down with gay marriage, watch this video and try to dislike the people involved.
