So, my friend and I are both dating boys in the same frat. I pretty much made them get official, actually – I got drunk at one of their parties, and said, “LEX, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT JOHN? YOU AND ME AND VAL AND JOHN SHOULD DOUBLE DATE. YOU AND VAL SHOULD JUST BE DATING,” and he agreed that he and Val should just be dating, so now they are. (Note to world: It appears this works? Use it wisely.)

And now we go on double dates. Last night, it was Val’s and my turn to make plans, and because we are girls we were going to do something unbearably cute and wonderful. We went ice skating.

And then we got drunk and played Pictionary-telephone. Pictionary-telephone is literally the best game in the world. Everyone has a piece of paper, and they write a sentence and pass it to the next person. The next person draws a picture illustrating the sentence, folds the sentence away, and passes it along to the next next person, who then writes another sentence, et cetera.

You end up with a page that says:

In soviet russia, television watches you! // Communists worship happy supercomputers. // The people welcome their new robot overlord.

Then you sit and giggle at them for no fewer than fifteen minutes straight, because this is literally the best game in the world.

It’s weird how many board games and the like I have found myself playing in college. Monopoly, Risk, Settlers of Catan… I’d say I have a really shitty social life, but I go to parties too. College is just the best, man.
