Every summer the same thing happens. I buy a pair of shoes, and then wear them every day until they are begging me to stop, for the love of god, put on something else just once. They get so worn down that they break, and then I have to repeat the process the next year. This has taught me some things:
I shouldn’t spend a ton of money on my summer-staple shoes, because they aren’t going to last.
I am a creature of ridiculous habit.
